About me
Textile & Fashion Designer born in Eskişehir, Turkey. Currently based in Stockholm, Sweden.
After I became a finalist in the Koza Young Fashion Designer Competition at the end of 2020, I released my first collection completely hand-woven on a 2-meter carpet loom, and showcased it on the runway.
Afterward, I founded my brand, combining 70's aesthetics with hand weaving and positioned as a slow fashion brand. I presented my collections for two seasons at Fashion Week Istanbul in 2021 and 2022.
Had a chance to be a part of the Dubai Expo 2020 Sustainable Fashion Show and volunteered as a fashion designer at a fundraiser runway for Teenage Cancer Trust in England.
Had interviews for magazines like Dazed, Kaltblut, Elle, GQ… Also, later in 2022, had the chance to be part of a few selected designers for Earth Positivity in fashion exhibition & panel based on my weaving technique usage in fashion. And showcased in 16th Contemporary Istanbul.
Pieces from my collections worn in magazines, music videos, and concerts of well-known figures in Turkey so far.
Continuing to create with my own brand Woven Delights, and the workshops I held on frame loom weaving.
